The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is pleased to invite you to a FREE virtual training on the Desired Results Developmental Profile [(DRDP (2025)]. This training is funded by CDSS and presented by WestEd.
The virtual sessions are designed for professional development providers, facilitators, teachers, administrators, and coaches who support or assist with the DRDP assessment.
Date and Time: All training times listed below are in Pacific Time (PT). Complete this registration form and select your preferred training date and time from the list below.

Language: Available in both English and Spanish
Professional Development Hours: After the training is completed and attendance is verified, participants will receive a certificate of completion by email. The virtual teacher trainings are worth 3 hours.

These trainings are three hours long and held virtually. To earn professional development hours, participants must attend the full three-hour session for either Part 1 or Part 2.
Participants may attend Part 1, Part 2, or both—there is no required order.
Training descriptions are provided below.
DRDP (2025) Overview - Part 1 - This 3-hour DRDP 2025 workshop will introduce the Early Learning and Development System and the elements of the DRDP 2025 measures. Participants will also analyze key modifications based on the alignment to the California Foundations.
DRDP (2025) Reviewing Evidence and Rating Measures - Part 2 - In this 3-hour DRDP 2025 workshop, participants will learn when to use the ELD Measures for multilingual learners. There will be a focus on analyzing observation notes and applying that information to rate measures with consistency.
